Should you use video or animation?

Video and animation are great tools to use in training courses, when they are used correctly. But which one should you use?

Video can be more personal, especially if you are using a main character that the audience can relate too. There are also some great effects, including drone shots that can really make the video engaging.

Animation, on the other hand is easier to change and it may be easier to show how a process works using animation. Also, you don’t need to get permission from people as you do in video and you don’t have to worry about what to do if they leave the company.

Another option is to use a combination. This can be very effective but it is a bit more costly.

Whichever option you use, make sure that the content is relevant and keep the video or animation concise.
