You wouldn’t buy a car without doing a test drive. Actually, these days you might because it’s almost impossible to get a car. But you would much rather have a test drive.
So, if you are looking for an elearning developer, make sure that you ask to see a demo. Many will have these demos accessible from their website. Why is this so important? Different developers have different styles so you want to make sure that you have one that fits your needs. And, you know what you are getting. Another form of demo is a reel. This is a mix of very short clips from courses the developer has completed. Either the demo or the reel can be useful, but the reel will not show you the interactions in the course.
The main point of this is don’t ever deal with an elearning developer that will not show you an example of their work. Most developers are more than happy to show off (while still respecting client confidentiality of course).
In fact, you can find our demo at https://courses.edgelearning.com.au/lessons/visitors-induction
